"Confusing instructions"
so i couldn’t understand half the instructions. The emails were vague, and I kept having to guess what I was supposed to do next. It ended up being really frustrating.

"Trying to deal with my iiba.org account..."
Trying to deal with my iiba.org account was a pain. All I wanted to do was update my email and sort out my login, but somehow the site kept sending me around in circles. How is something that basic this confusing?
I reached out to support, but the replies were slow and kind of felt like they hadn’t really read what I wrote. I’d explain the issue, wait, and then get a response that didn’t fully address it. Isn’t that the whole point of support?
After a few days of back and forth, I just gave up. For a paid membership site, managing your account should be simple, not a mini project. Who wants to spend that much time just trying to log in and update an email?

"Didn't really feel worth it"
I joined thinking it might sorta help give my career a boost, but i didn’t end up seeing much value from it. It just wasn’t really what I was hoping for.

"Certification Fees Felt Steep"
The certification fees felt way too high to me. I kept thinking, "Wait, is it really supposed to cost this much?" I get that certifications have value, but the price made me hesitate more than once

"Webinars Were Not Very Helpful"
I did not get much out of the webinars or events. I was hoping they would be more useful, but they felt a bit lacking and did not really help me the way I expected

"Going through the recertification process on iiba…"
Going through the recertification process on iiba was frustrating. The steps weren’t very clear, and it took longer than I expected to figure out what I was supposed to do. I also reached out for support, but it didn’t really help much. I can see other customers feeling the same way if they’re just trying to get recertified without all the confusion.

"Not really what I was hoping for"
I’ll admit I’m probably biased because I prefer really practical, BA-specific guidance, but this just didn’t hit the mark for me. I expected clearer professional standards and examples I could actually relate to in my day-to-day work. Instead, a lot of it felt general and not that useful for what I do. I can see how some people might get something out of it, but personally, I was disappointed...

I emailed iiba.org about an issue I was having. Then just waited. And waited. The reply took way too long, honestly. Made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be. I just wanted some help, but it felt harder than it should’ve. Not a great support experience for me

I tried to book my exam but couldn’t get it done, which was really annoying. Not exactly how I wanted to spend my time, to be honest. Hopefully they sort this out soon because it should be a simple process.

"Helpful, but not enough by itself"
My snap judgment after using the study material on iiba: it’s decent for getting the basics down, but I wouldn’t rely on it alone for exam prep. Some sections were clear and easy to follow, but others felt dry and didn’t go deep enough. I ended up using a few other resources to fill in the gaps. Overall, not bad, just not complete enough on its own.

The training was okay overall. Some of the providers explained things really well, but others seemed rushed, and I kind of felt like I was just expected to keep up on my own. When I needed support, it took a while to hear back, which made the whole thing feel a bit more frustrating than it needed to be.

"Frustrating Continuing Development Process"
I had a frustrating experience trying to deal with IIBA’s continuing development requirements. It feels like there’s way too much tracking for something that should be fairly straightforward (at least in my opinion). The website didn’t make things very clear, and I kept clicking around in circles trying to figure out what actually counts and what doesn’t. For the amount of money you pay, I really expected the whole process to be smoother. it made me question whether keeping the certification is even worth it

"The prep was okay, but the exam felt tougher"
I used iiba.org for the exam info and prep, and it was just helpful to have everything in one place. But the actual exam felt a lot harder than I expected. Some of the questions were just confusing and didn’t really feel that close to the practice material. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me it was frustrating.

"Really frustrating membership billing issue"
I paid for my membership, but it still wasn’t showing as active, which was really annoying. Support took longer than I expected to get back to me, and the emails I got about the payment were confusing. Overall, it just wasn’t a smooth billing experience and left me feeling kinda frustrated.

I was thinking about joining iiba.org, but the membership cost feels way too high for what I need rn. I’m sure it makes sense for some people, but for me, I can’t really justify spending that much at the moment

"I went into the IIBA resource library thinking..."
I went into the IIBA resource library thinking it would be a quick way to find helpful business analysis material, but it just annoyed me. The layout felt messy, some of the content seemed outdated, and I kept clicking around without getting anywhere useful.

I don’t have much patience for sites that make me dig forever, and this one definitely tested that. A lot of what I found was either way too basic or buried behind confusing pages, so I gave up and searched on Google instead. Not something I’d bother using again.

"Support took longer than I expected"
I reached out to IIBA support because I was having trouble logging in, and maybe I was just expecting too much, but it felt like several days went by without anything helpful. When they finally replied, the response seemed kind of rushed and didn’t really answer what I was asking. I kept wondering if I hadn’t explained the issue clearly enough, but it was a simple login problem. It ended up being more frustrating than I thought it would be.

"Not quite as globally recognized as expected"
I mean, it’s okay, but i kind of expected it to feel a lot more recognized worldwide based on what I was told. Like, maybe I just had my expectations set a little too high, but it didn’t really seem to have that global reputation I was expecting

"Not really worth it for me"
I paid for this certification thinking it would actually help me stand out, but most employers I talked to barely seemed to care about it. Come on now, if I’m spending money on something like this, I’d expect it to carry at least a little more weight.

"Pricey Membership, Tiny Payoff"
I signed up thinking the membership would actually be worth it, but nope, welcome to the Fancy Fee Club, where you pay more and somehow get less. I really didn’t feel like I got any real value out of it, just a monthly reminder that my money could’ve gone somewhere better.
